The 17th Pathfinders are a proudly self-hosted Arma 3 milsim unit, based in Australia, & run by admins from both Australia and North America. We're not just a milsim though, and routinely organise and play other simulation games together in our Discord.
We foster a strong sense of community and teamwork, supported by a simple mod system. Whether you're a new player or a seasoned veteran, enjoy our democratic mission voting system and easy op times that accommodate most. We've been around as a unit for over years and have figured out the best middle ground for Aussies and Americans together.
Our unit operates at a set time that accommodates AU & NA timezones, with operations on Sundays and Saturdays at around midday, making us one of the most accessible tactical realism units in the region.

The 17th Pathfinders proudly hosts all our infrastructure in-house, giving us complete control and flexibility over our gaming experience. Our self-hosted setup includes two dedicated Arma 3 servers, an OCAP replay system (a powerful tool that records and visualizes our operations for after-action review), racing game servers for community events, and this very website you're browsing.
This infrastructure is made possible through our Open Collective fund, a transparent community-supported funding platform that allows members to contribute and see exactly where their donations go. All contributions are voluntary and greatly appreciated—they help us keep the lights on and expand our capacity to host more games and services for the community to enjoy together.
